(she/her)
Hello, I’m Danielle and I’m excited to meet you! I am a licensed clinical social worker, and have been honored to provide compassionate and person-centered care to individuals for over 15 years. I would love to talk to you and find out how we can work together to find your wisest path. I like to think of therapy as walking a forest path together, where we get to look at who’s on this journey with you, turn over and examine what’s under the boulders in your way, and give your deepest self some air and light. Feel free to book for a first session to see if I might be a good fit for you. I look forward to getting to know you!
The first session is designed for us to get to know one another - I'll ask a number of questions to get to know you better and understand what you're looking for from therapy. I also like to make sure you have time and space in that first session to ask me any questions you feel are important about me and my therapy practice. At the end of the first session we'll get to decide together if it feels like a good fit and if we want to schedule more sessions. If it doesn't feel like a good fit I'll provide several referrals for you through the Grow network to help you find a better fit for you.
I am rooted in feminist, queer, and anti-oppression therapeutic frameworks, and will support you in understanding your place within all the different systems in your life. I see myself as a collaborator, not an “expert” and work to support the innate healing potential every complicated human possesses. My approach is depth and emotion-processing oriented, and while I am able to provide some guidance and support on building skills and changing habits, my focus in sessions tends to be on attachment styles, complex trauma, and relationship patterns. I'm also highly relational and find that building a strong therapeutic relationship is paramount to the success of the work.
I love supporting clients in deeper exploration of trauma, attachment, and exploring protective and defensive strategies in their relationships. I am very relational in my work, and love to work with clients who are willing to build trust and rapport in the therapeutic relationship. I am best positioned to serve clients looking for a longer therapeutic relationship to really go deep in the processing work and build strong trust in the provider/client relationship.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
Mindfulness and emotional regulation skills can form a great foundation for deeper emotional processing. I like to balance DBT skills work with creating space in sessions for emotional processing and using emotionally focused tools.
EMDR
I have been trained but am not certified in this modality. I love EMDR because it borrows from so many other modalities I love including CBT, DBT, somatic therapy, exposure, etc.

I was searching for a therapist for a hot minute before I found Ms. Danielle. Ms. Danielle is kind and always listens to what I've got going on even if she's heard it a million times. She asks guiding questions and lets me search myself to find the answers. She's funny and warm and one of a kind. Very grateful to have found her! Highly recommend!
