I am am easy going but no bs therapist. I want you to feel comfortable enough to open up about what is troubling you but not too comfortable that you forget why you are here. Therapy with me is a lot of heavy lifting on your part and my job will be to guide and support you along that journey. I specialize in PTSD Therapy through different modalities. It is not easy work but you can most definitely do it. Let's do it together.
First session
First session I like to help you feel comfortable and relieve the anxiety of a first session. We will go through the intake process so I can understand who you are, where you were and where we are going moving forward.
Strengths
My best strengths are my ability to relate and help you feel at ease while then seeing the opportunities to challenge the narrative you may have been telling yourself and others for a long time. I want you to question your thoughts and behaviors to gain better understanding of why and where that came from. We nonconsentually consent to belief when we are younger and I plan to help you challenge if they are really yours or maybe not.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is someone who has been struggling with past trauma or situations and they have had enough of living that way. You must be ready to take the leap to live a better life that you deserve. Ptsd is my favorite to work with. Couples and teens are my next favorite. People want to be understood and I love helping facilitate this.
