First session
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Strengths
I am very experienced in helping with anxiety and panic attacks and symptoms of PTSD. I have a goal-oriented approach to changing thoughts that lead to anxiety, which does include using exposure therapy for anxiety triggers. I use EMDR to help clients work through traumatic events. I work with clients dealing with life stress or life changes by using a step by step, goal-oriented approach. I have worked with many clients that need help with self esteem issues and relationship issues.
Ideal clients
My dream therapy clients are people who have experienced trauma, anxiety, or meaningful life changes and have reached a point where they know something needs to shift. They may have spent years coping, surviving, or putting others first, but now they’re ready to turn inward and focus on their own healing. They don’t necessarily have everything figured out, but they have a willingness to grow. They’re open to exploring their thoughts, emotions, and patterns—even when it feels uncomfortable—because they’re motivated by the possibility of feeling more grounded, calm, and in control of their lives. My dream clients value a safe, supportive space where they can be honest without fear of judgment. They’re not looking for perfection or quick fixes, but for real, lasting change. They’re ready to process their past, navigate their present, and intentionally create a future that feels more aligned, peaceful, and authentic. At their core, they are resilient—and their decision to seek therapy is a powerful first step toward the life they want to live.
