I am a licensed therapist with 8 years experience supporting individuals with navigating the day-to-day and life transitions in the midst of experiencing anxiety, depression, and other challenges. I utilize talk therapy and operate from a person-centered approach to help form a trusting relationship where you feel safe and comfortable opening up. I like to consider my approach to therapy eclectic. Each person has different needs and what works for one does not work for all. I like to be creative with each of my clients and find the treatment modality that will work best for them and their situation. I personally have struggled with my own anxiety and panic attacks since I was a child. This is what led me to want to be a therapist to help others.
In our first session, I will work to create a warm, welcoming environment to orient you to therapy. I feel this is important during this time for us to get to know each other so you get comfortable opening up and I can better help you. I'll ask questions to get a good picture of what brings you to therapy.
I am a present, kind, and humorous therapist who values the therapeutic relationship and creating a warm environment you feel comfortable in. I am judgement free and here to support you. My ability to connect and validate will allow you to gain insight and skills leading to more fulfilling relationships and an improved sense of self. I have experience working with children in both outpatient and school settings. I have experience working in addiction and recovery. I am certified in Exposure Response Prevention therapy and have extensive experience treating OCD, Anxiety and Panic Disorders. I also have had extensive training in Grief and Loss and spiritual and ethical counseling.
I specialize in working with individuals struggling with OCD, anxiety, depression, and addiction/recovery. I have experience working children in both outpatient and school based settings and enjoy the challenge of getting them to engage in therapy.

I am certified in ERP therapy and use it to treat OCD, anxiety, social anxiety and panic disorders. ERP is the golden standard for OCD treatment.
I use a person centered approach as the basis of my treatment with all clients. I feel it is important to form a strong trusting relationship with my clients where they feel safe and comfortable opening up. I foster this by sharing some of my own experiences and providing unconditional positive regard and empathy to all clients.
I have years of experience working with children both in outpatient and school settings. I have found the best way to get kids to open up and understand emotions and thoughts is through play.
I use CBT to help with reframing thoughts and changing perspectives on things to reach a healthy mindset.
