I’m a Latina therapist supporting high-functioning women navigating anxiety, burnout, and life transitions. Many of my clients are used to being the “strong one” for others while feeling overwhelmed internally. I create a warm, supportive space where you can slow down, feel understood, and reconnect with yourself. My approach blends evidence-based therapy with compassion, helping you build practical tools while creating deeper, lasting change.
Our first session is a space for you to begin sharing what’s been coming up and what you’re hoping to work on. We’ll move at your pace as I get to know your experiences, goals, and what support looks like for you. We’ll also review important information such as confidentiality and its limits, including mandated reporting, along with scheduling and how the therapy process works. From there, we’ll begin assessing your needs and identifying goals for our work together. If time allows, we may start exploring some of your current challenges and begin making sense of things together.
Clients report feeling understood, supported, and comfortable opening up in our work together. I’m able to balance structure with compassion—offering practical tools while also helping you explore the deeper patterns behind what you’re experiencing. I specialize in working with individuals who are used to being the “strong one,” helping them set boundaries, reduce overwhelm, and feel more grounded and confident in their daily lives.
I work best with high-functioning women and professionals who may appear “put together” on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted beneath the surface. Many of my clients are navigating stress, burnout, life transitions, or the pressure of balancing work, family, and personal expectations. I also support individuals who have taken on caregiving or “strong one” roles and are learning how to set boundaries, reconnect with themselves, and prioritize their emotional well-being. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and focused on helping clients feel more grounded, confident, and aligned in their daily lives.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify patterns that contribute to anxiety, stress, or feeling stuck, and work toward more balanced, supportive ways of thinking. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, integrating CBT with mindfulness and insight into past experiences to support both practical coping skills and long-term change.
I use Compassion-Focused Therapy to help clients develop a kinder, more supportive relationship with themselves. Together, we explore patterns of self-criticism, shame, and emotional overwhelm, and build self-compassion as a tool for healing. My approach is warm and supportive, integrating mindfulness and emotional awareness to help clients feel safer, more grounded, and more accepting of their experiences.
I use mindfulness-based approaches to help clients slow down, become more present, and build awareness of their thoughts and emotions without judgment. This can be especially helpful for managing anxiety, stress, and feeling overwhelmed. My approach is gentle and grounding, integrating mindfulness with practical tools to support emotional regulation, clarity, and a stronger connection to self.
I use Gestalt therapy to help clients increase awareness of their present-moment thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we explore patterns as they show up in real time, allowing for deeper insight and more authentic self-expression. My approach is experiential and supportive, helping clients build clarity, emotional awareness, and a stronger connection to themselves.
I use a humanistic approach to create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. Together, we focus on self-awareness, personal growth, and building a stronger connection to your authentic self. My approach is warm and client-centered, helping you feel seen, understood, and empowered in your healing process.

I was initially nervous coming into my session because I was unaware of how it would go, what the session would entail and if Yasmilet and I would be a good fit. But it all washed away once I began talking and I saw and felt her positive, warm energy. I look forward to connecting with her more and continuing my therapy journey.
