I help to keep my client's focused on their therapeutic goals.
First session
The first session is often a mix of getting to know one another, discussing logistics, policies, and procedures that will structure the therapy sessions, as well as completing assessments that will give us a baseline of where we are starting from, and establishing your therapeutic goals. I require at least 24 hours notice of cancellation or you will be charged the full cash session fee.
Strengths
I believe that my focus on helping you achieve your therapeutic goals and being a good listener are my greatest strengths as a therapist. I try to keep my clients on track & focused with how we can improve how they are feeling about themselves and the quality of their lives.
Ideal clients
As a therapist, I understand that working through emotions as an individual or in a relationship can be difficult. Whether I am working with an individual, couple, or family my job is to guide and support my clients and allow them to discover, excavate & process their feelings while dealing with anxiety, low self-esteem, or adjusting to life's various issues. Self awareness is an incredible skill that I enjoy helping clients develop as they engage in the most important relationship - the one they have with themselves. I have a direct, non-judgemental style that incorporates several treatment strategies and interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered, Solution Focused and Emotionally Focused Therapy. The therapist/client relationship is one of the most important components of successful therapy. Please reach out so we can determine if we can create a safe, effective working environment to help you achieve your goals.
