Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you? You may be functioning day-to-day while feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. I work with adults who want support navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, and identity-related concerns in a space that feels affirming, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I’m Stephanie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 9 years of experience in the mental health field. My approach is client-centered and strengths-based, focused on helping you better understand yourself, build practical coping skills, and feel more grounded and confident in your daily life. In sessions, clients often share that they feel truly heard and understood. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. We’ll work together at a pace that feels supportive, exploring patterns, strengthening coping strategies, and developing tools you can actually use outside of therapy. I use an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused, humanistic, and strengths-based interventions. Treatment is always tailored to your unique needs, goals, and lived experience. I most often support clients experiencing anxiety, burnout, low self-esteem, people-pleasing, stress related to relationships or work, and challenges connected to major life transitions. As a Hispanic/Latin× and LGBTQ+ identified therapist, I’m mindful of how culture, identity, and systemic stressors impact mental health, and I strive to create an affirming and inclusive space for all clients. I may be a great fit for you if you’re looking for a therapist who balances warmth with practical tools and values collaboration, insight, and personal growth. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to support you — feel free to schedule a session to see if we’re a good fit.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for our work together. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to gain, and any concerns or questions you may have. There’s no pressure to share everything at once — we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and strengths, and we’ll start identifying goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you. You can also expect space to ask questions about therapy, my approach, or what working together might look like moving forward. By the end of the session, many clients feel more at ease and have a clearer sense of next steps. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and confident about whether this feels like a good fit.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength is creating a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I bring a calm, grounded presence to sessions and work collaboratively with clients to explore challenges in a way that feels supportive rather than overwhelming. I’m skilled at helping clients identify patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, stress, or burnout, while also focusing on practical tools and coping strategies that can be applied in everyday life. I balance warmth and empathy with gentle guidance, helping clients gain insight while also making meaningful, realistic changes. I’m also attentive to the impact of culture, identity, and lived experience on mental health. As a Hispanic/Latin× and LGBTQ+ identified therapist, I strive to provide affirming, culturally responsive care that honors each client’s unique background and strengths. I show up as myself so you can feel safe showing up as you. Together, we’ll explore what matters most to you, at a pace that feels right.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is an adult who is feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck and is open to exploring their thoughts, emotions, and patterns in a supportive and collaborative space. They may be navigating stress, burnout, life transitions, or identity-related challenges and are looking for both understanding and practical tools to help them move forward. They don’t need to have everything figured out — just a willingness to reflect, engage in the process, and take small, meaningful steps toward change. I work well with clients who value warmth, honesty, and growth, and who are interested in developing greater self-awareness, coping skills, and confidence over time.
