Hi, I’m Sarah! I'm a licensed therapist who offers online therapy for adults in Ohio and Colorado. Many of the people I work with are doing their best — but feel stretched thin, stuck in the same patterns, and unsure of how to calm the noise in their mind and body. In therapy, we’ll gently take a look at what’s going on beneath your patterns — with your stress response, thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and the experiences that shaped them. My style is practical and supportive. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT and mindfulness, and I also bring in body-based and energy-psychology tools when they’re helpful — so we’re not only talking about what’s hard, we’re building skills that help you actually feel different over time. I aim to create a space that feels safe, warm, and grounded — where you can understand yourself with more compassion and feel empowered to move toward the life and relationships you most want. Please note: I currently offer remote individual therapy sessions for adults only. I do not provide couples therapy through my therapy practice or through Grow. I do, however, work with couples separately through my coaching practice, which is outside of Grow Therapy. You can learn more about that here: https://sarahschweppe.com/couples-coaching

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and making sure this feels like a good fit. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’ve been dealing with, and what you’re hoping will change. I’ll ask about relevant parts of your history — mental health, physical health, relationships, and anything from the past that helps me understand the bigger picture. You’re welcome to ask me any questions along the way. Before we wrap up, we’ll start clarifying your goals and next steps — so you leave the session with a clearer sense of where we’re headed together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often tell me they feel safe with me — like they can finally exhale and share what’s really going on. I’m naturally curious and I listen closely, which helps us get to the root of things instead of staying on the surface. I also bring practical, repeatable tools that help you shift how you feel — not just understand why you feel that way. I care a lot about therapy that translates into real life. The tools we use are ones I trust and practice myself, because I know what it’s like to feel stuck, overwhelmed, and disconnected—and I want what we do together to be realistic, doable, and effective on an ordinary day. My goal is to help you let go of old patterns, step out of blame and reactivity, and build real emotional steadiness—so you can access your own clarity, strength, and inner power.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT-informed strategies to help clients understand the link between thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and behavior — and to change patterns that keep them stuck.

Somatic

I integrate somatic, body-based practices to support emotion regulation, reduce overwhelm, and help clients access what they feel.

Mind-body approach

I combine nervous-system regulation with practical cognitive and behavior-change tools so progress isn’t just insight — it’s embodied and repeatable.
