New to Grow
I am a compassionate, bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist who blends evidence-based approaches with a holistic perspective. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your story, process challenges, and discover strengths you may not yet see. My style is collaborative and practical—I listen deeply, offer gentle guidance, and help you connect your values to meaningful action so you can move toward healing and growth.
The initial meeting is collaborative and relaxed—more about understanding your needs and setting a direction than doing “deep work” right away.
My greatest strengths are a deep empathy and cultural sensitivity that help clients feel safe and understood. I bring a calm, grounded presence and integrate mind-body approaches, allowing healing to occur on multiple levels—emotional, mental, and physical. I guide clients to connect insight with action and create lasting change.
My ideal client is someone who feels stuck—whether from stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, or life transitions- and is ready to explore new ways of relating to their thoughts and emotions. They may be high-functioning yet overwhelmed, seeking both understanding and practical tools for change. They value a warm, collaborative approach and are open to evidence-based methods to help them heal, grow, and live in alignment with their deepest values.
I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients build psychological flexibility—the ability to stay present and take actions guided by their values, even when life is painful or uncertain. Together, we work on noticing and accepting difficult thoughts or feelings without letting them control your choices. Through mindfulness, values exploration, and committed action, you'll learn practical skills to reduce struggle with inner experiences and move toward a more meaningful, fulfilling life.
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients understand and heal the different “parts” of themselves—such as protective parts, wounded parts. Together we gently explore these inner parts with curiosity and respect, helping them release burdens and move toward balance. This process supports self-compassion and emotional healing.
I use this modality to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so they can create meaningful change. My approach is collaborative and practical — we identify unhelpful patterns, learn skills to challenge and reframe limiting beliefs, and replace them with healthier ways of thinking and coping. I integrate CBT tools such as thought restructuring, behavioral experiments, and coping skills training, always tailoring them to each person’s needs and pace. The goal is to build insight, increase emotional resilience, and support clients in developing lasting, positive change in their daily lives.
