In your first session with me as your therapist, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space where we’ll get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any questions or concerns you may have about the process. I’ll ask some questions about your history and current situation to better understand your unique experiences and needs, but there’s no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with at this stage. Together, we’ll also discuss how therapy works, what approaches I use, and what you can expect moving forward. Most importantly, this first session is about creating a safe environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to begin your journey toward growth and healing.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the unique blend of trauma informed care that is evidence-based methods and genuine, empathetic connection. I draw from solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness practices to help you gain practical tools and deeper self-awareness, while also offering Christian counseling for those who desire faith-based support. Each session is designed to not only explore your thoughts and feelings but to move you toward change through tailored action steps, homework, or engaging activities that help you apply insights to everyday life. At the core of my work is a commitment to seeing and understanding your perspective with compassion and openness, creating a space where healing feels possible and progress feels tangible.
I offer a welcoming and nurturing environment for individuals, families, and organizations from diverse backgrounds, spanning ages five to seventy-five. My practice addresses a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. For individuals, whether you’re a child navigating school, a teen facing adolescent pressures, an adult managing work-life balance, or a senior seeking meaning, I provide tailored support to help you uncover and overcome your challenges. My goal is to empower clients to achieve clarity, develop practical tools, and foster positive change in their lives. With a commitment to cultural competence and a personalized approach, I am dedicated to guiding you on your journey towards growth and healing. If you’re ready to take the next step towards a healthier and more fulfilling life, I invite you to reach out.

I use client strengths to provide short-term, goal oriented therapeutic approach that emphasizes solutions rather than problems.
We use Acceptance therapy supports clients developing an awareness of difficult thoughts and feelings by integrating acceptance rather than struggling against them.
CBT is used to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and beliefs, learn healthier thinking patterns, and practice coping skill and behaviors that reduce distress.
We use each person's existing faith strengths, talents, and resources to reframe challenges, enhance resilience, and use their unique abilities to achieve goals and navigate life.
We use trauma informed care to by creating a safe space that is respectable, and recognizes the impact of trauma on a clients life. The goal of this therapy is to guide treatment, build trust, and empower clients.
