I have spent my years as a therapist both keeping abreast of all of the most up-to-date approaches to care, but more importantly, I continue to challenge myself as an individual to consider the needs of the people and world around me so that I may offer the best treatment possible. Mental healthcare is my passion, and I pride myself on not only providing a high quality of care, but also being a therapist that my clients can look to expect a close and collaborative relationship. Therapy can be challenging, but it also can be a time to enjoy being able to focus on you alone in a warm and supportive environment.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In your first session, you can expect to be put at ease. Trust me- I understand how hard this first step can be! I love to use a bit of humor to make my clients feel as comfortable as possible. I will use this time to get to know as much as I can about you and what brings you to therapy, and possibly let you know a bit about me, too. My goal is to make your experience as easy as possible while building towards establishing your goals for treatment.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I excel at building rapport with my clients. I also pride myself at keeping on top of all of the newest treatment modalities, and I am continuously seeking out all of the latest information available on mental health and social topics. I believe strongly in psychoeducation so that my clients can also be well-informed and empowered in their own treatment both in session and the outside world. I am able to work with a very diverse clientele- including both ethnic a racial minorities or religious groups, as well as gender and sexual minorities.

I love working with all ages, and particularly look forward to serving adolescents aged 10 and up, teens, and adults. I have specialized training in ADHD, anxiety disorders, and trauma. Grief and loss is an additional area that I have specialized training and interest.
