Strengths

Kim is the mother of two teenagers and has spent many years parenting as a single mother. These experiences have shaped her understanding of endurance, complexity, and growth. Kim is also a neurodivergent therapist, which allows her to connect deeply with clients who experience the world differently. Outside of work, nature is her refuge—offering balance, perspective, and renewal.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is a motivated adult that seeks meaningful change, personal growth, healing, and a greater balance in life. They are open to self reflection, ready to embrace new perspectives, and committed to creating a more joyful, authentic life. They may be navigating a transition, overcoming limiting beliefs, or seeking greater clarity about their goals and values. They are willing to participate actively in the process, practice new strategies, and take consistent steps towards lasting change and enhanced well being.

Treatment methods

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a type of therapy that helps people heal from difficult, painful, or traumatic experiences. It uses guided eye movements or other forms of gentle back-and-forth stimulation to help the brain process memories that may feel stuck or overwhelming. Over time, these memories can become less emotionally intense, allowing you to think about them without experiencing the same level of distress. EMDR helps you move forward by changing how past experiences affect your thoughts, emotions, and everyday life.
