I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who provides virtual therapy services to adolescents, college students, adults, and older adults. I am committed to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore challenges, build on their strengths, and work toward meaningful personal growth. Through the convenience of telehealth, I help individuals address concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and emotional well-being. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique needs and goals, empowering them to develop effective coping skills and achieve lasting positive change.

First session

During your first therapy session, we will focus on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and discussing your goals for treatment. I will ask questions about your background, current concerns, strengths, and experiences to gain a better understanding of your needs. We will also review how therapy works, discuss confidentiality, and explore approaches that may best support your growth and progress. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and able to begin your therapeutic journey at your own pace.

Strengths

My strengths as a therapist include creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being open and authentic. I value building strong therapeutic relationships based on trust, empathy, and collaboration. I am skilled at helping clients recognize their strengths, gain insight into their experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and work toward meaningful goals. I bring a compassionate and individualized approach to therapy, meeting each client where they are while supporting growth, resilience, and positive change.

Ideal clients

I work with adolescents, college students, adults, and older adults, providing individualized support that reflects each person's unique stage of life and experiences. I help clients navigate a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, academic and career pressures, grief, and personal growth. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client's needs, creating a supportive environment where individuals can develop insight, build resilience, and work toward meaningful and lasting change.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I am a compassionate therapist who uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and focused on developing practical skills that promote lasting change. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and other emotional challenges, helping them identify unhelpful patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful improvements in their daily lives.

Psychoeducation

I incorporate psychoeducation into my therapeutic approach to help clients better understand their emotions, behaviors, mental health concerns, and the factors that influence their well-being. By providing information, insight, and practical tools, I empower clients to make informed decisions, build self-awareness, and develop effective coping strategies. My goal is to create a supportive environment where learning becomes a foundation for growth, resilience, and positive change.

Strength-Based

I utilize a strength-based approach that focuses on identifying and building upon each client's unique abilities, resilience, and personal resources. Rather than concentrating solely on challenges, I help clients recognize their existing strengths and use them as a foundation for growth and positive change. Through a collaborative and empowering process, I support individuals in developing confidence, overcoming obstacles, and achieving their personal goals while honoring their values and life experiences.
