I specialize in supporting individuals navigating maternal/paternal mental health challenges, grief, and trauma. Whether you are adjusting to parenthood, coping with pregnancy or infant loss, or working through unresolved trauma, you don’t have to do it alone. In our first few sessions, we will gently explore what brings you to therapy and how I can best support you. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to begin healing at your own pace. Passionate about helping individuals grow, heal, and move forward by integrating life’s most painful and powerful experiences in healthy, meaningful ways. I integrate evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), (DBT), and (CBT). I am certified as a Perinatal Mental Health professional (PMH-C), Grief Specialist, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs and experiences. My practice is deeply personal. As a mother of three with two living children, I understand the profound vulnerability that comes with sitting in the therapy chair. I also know the courage and strength it takes to heal. This perspective allows me to hold space with compassion, authenticity, and respect for your story. Currently licensed in Arizona, Idaho and Wisconsin. Privileges to practice in Minnesota/Idaho. I have my CCTP, PMHC and Grief certification. Recently I trained in Paternal Mental Health through PSI. Extensive experience and training in Perinatal Loss and I am trained in EMDR, DBT, CBT, IFS, and ERP. I have acquired extensive training and experience with Grief to include Perinatal Loss and Infertility challenges. I am well versed in trauma work and healing. I have worked with general mental health and mood disorders to provide support and skills development.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session we will review paperwork, policies and procedures and what to expect in the therapeutic process. We will complete a formal intake to identify presenting problems, assess for severity, gather information on history and establish treatment goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a therapist it is important to me to meet people where they are at which requires me to remain curious and open to learning. I have learned how to create a safe, non judgmental and empathetic space for people to share. Given my experience with trauma and grief work I find it valuable to provide resources and tools for people to build a foundation to sustain progress. I tend to hold a direct yet empathetic approach which allows me to provide validation while encouraging change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with individuals to assist in their adjustment of life transitions and experience with pregnancy and postpartum. My passion is working with grief and loss to include Perinatal Loss. I have extensive experience and training in the areas of grief and loss and trauma to include EMDR.
