Hello, I am Deidra Wells, LMFT. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Rancho Cucamonga, California & service the state of Texas. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and my Master’s degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix. I have been in the field for 13 years in various therapy settings. My specialties include addiction counseling with treatment of underlying mental health disorders or life challenges, career counseling, adulting skills, co-dependency, depression, trauma, childhood issues, grief, relationship issues, abuse and anxiety.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I’m especially passionate about working with young adults navigating identity, relationships, life transitions, motivation, and self-worth. I also enjoy supporting women through the different stages and pressures of life whether adjusting to motherhood, balancing the emotional demands of raising children, managing relationships, or reconnecting with themselves outside of caregiving roles. I proudly provide an inclusive, affirming space and consider myself an ally to the LGBTQ+ community. I work with individuals in recovery or struggling with substance use, as well as clients managing ADHD, bipolar-related challenges, emotional overwhelm, racing thoughts, motivation struggles, and difficulties with daily structure or functioning. Together, we focus on building healthier coping skills, routines, insight, and lasting balance. My goal is to create a warm, validating, and down-to-earth environment where clients feel safe being themselves while working toward meaningful change.
I enjoy working with young adults who are in the first few years of their careers or life after high school or adults working on managing life's challenges. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their careers, life choices, or struggling to identify their goals.

I’ve only had two sessions so far, but I really appreciate the safe space and openness she creates. She’s been helping us work through our relationship by providing helpful guidance and practical tools to improve communication and get us on the right track. She listens thoughtfully and is very supportive, which makes it easier to be open during sessions. I really appreciate her help and look forward to continuing sessions.

After a long search for a therapist I truly connect with, I finally found her. She makes me feel seen, heard, and understood, and I trust her. Her style matches my pace, and she gives meaningful homework so I can actively work on my goals between sessions instead of relying only on weekly appointments. I appreciate having tangible tools and clear next steps to apply in real life. She listened closely during our intro, understood what I needed to succeed, and has delivered exactly that.
