Every woman deserves to feel powerful in her own life. We forget how strong, resilient, and deeply worthy we really are, whether you're in the thick of new motherhood, grieving a loss that changed everything, running on empty, or simply tired of feeling like you're not enough. Wherever you are, you are already enough. And I'm here to help you see it, feel it, and reclaim it. Hey there! I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S) with over 12 years of experience dedicated to supporting and empowering women through life's transitions-because life is always life-ing. My specialty is perinatal mental health. As a certified Perinatal Mental Health Specialist (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International, I walk alongside women through pregnancy, postpartum, the fourth trimester, traumatic birth, and loss-the seasons that change you in ways no one fully prepares you for. I support women navigating: Perinatal and postpartum depression and anxiety Perinatal OCD and traumatic birth Mother and infant attachment Parenting in recovery Pregnancy and infant loss and grief The fog of depression, anxiety, or stress blocking your path back to yourself Burnout from expectations you never should have carried alone Compassion fatigue — for the helpers, healers, and caretakers who pour from an empty cup Grief of a person, relationship, lifestyle, or a version of yourself Life. The deep, bone-tired desire to stop surviving and start healing Fresh endings and new beginnings This is an inclusive, affirming space that celebrates all backgrounds, identities, and family structures. You belong here-exactly as you are.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Let's be real. The first session can feel a little vulnerable. You're showing up, opening up to someone new, and that takes courage. I see that, and I don't take it lightly. Here's what you can expect: the first session is an intake, which means we cover some important ground together. I'll be gathering information about what's going on emotionally and physically, your history, and what's brought you to this point. I use validated clinical screeners to get a clear, honest picture of where you are right now because your care should be grounded in more than just a gut feeling. It should be measurable, intentional, and built on what you're actually experiencing. But beyond the clinical stuff, I'm getting to know you. Not just your symptoms or your history on paper, but the real you. What's weighing on you. What you've been carrying. What you're hoping for. All of it matters here. Everything we do is rooted in evidence-based, trauma-informed care, meaning I meet you where you are, honor what you've been through, and never move faster than feels safe. You are always in the driver's seat. By the end of our first session, we'll have a clearer picture of where you are, what you need, and where we want to start. Your therapy will be built around you- your goals, your life, your pace. No pressure to have it all figured out beforehand. You don't need the perfect words or a neat summary of your struggles. Just show up-honestly. And we'll take it from there. This is the beginning of something that's entirely yours.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Therapy with me is not going to be you talking while I nod. We are going to get in there together. I believe in therapy that moves. That means identifying the thoughts that have been running the show, challenging the beliefs that have convinced you you're not enough, and actually doing the work to change them. Collaborative, honest, and never afraid to call out the brain lies (the "I'm a failure," the "I'm too much," the "I should have it together by now") and look at them for what they actually are: patterns, not truth. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices because what we do in session should actually work. I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) -one of the most researched and effective approaches for anxiety, depression, and trauma- to help you identify and restructure the thought patterns keeping you stuck. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you stop fighting your inner experience and start moving toward the life that actually aligns with your values. But I'm also a little eclectic- because you are not a textbook, and good therapy meets the whole person. I pull from what works for you, weave in my 12+ years of experience, and show up as a real human being who genuinely cares about your growth. There's warmth here. There's also honesty. And sometimes there's a little humor because healing doesn't always have to be heavy. You'll leave sessions with more than insight. You'll leave with tools, awareness, and a clearer picture of who you are beneath all the noise. This is your life. You deserve to feel like yourself in it, not just survive it.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

This is likely a great fit if... ✔ You want to feel genuinely safe and unjudged from the very first session ✔ You're ready for real, meaningful change-not just to vent ✔ You want a therapist who is warm, real, and direct without being harsh ✔ You believe in your own capacity to heal, and you just need the right support to get there ✔ You want care that is rooted in both science and deep respect for who you are ✔ You're done pretending to be okay and ready to actually feel okay ✔ Your family looks exactly the way you built it and you want a therapist who celebrates that. Also, your pet is family and you want a therapist who gets that.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Ever catch your brain telling you "I'm a bad mom" after one challenging nap? Or you're feeling on edge and think "I must have messed something up"? And the most famous of all- "I'm not good enough." Lies. All brain lies. CBT is how we catch the continuous lies in the act. Your thoughts, feelings, and actions are all tangled together. A missed email in the AM has you on edge, questioning your abilities, forgetting to eat lunch (among other things), and has snowballed into "I'm going to be fired" by 2 PM. Mom-guilt spirals into "I should be handling this better," which wrecks your mood, which makes you skip the shower or the walk or the five minutes that were just for you, which feeds right back into feeling like you're failing. We put those exhausted, overstimulated thoughts on trial (the comparison spirals, the guilt, the one-bad-moment-means-I'm-failing thinking) and ask: is this actually true, or just your tired brain talking? Then we get practical: small, doable actions (even five minutes) that boost your mood and energy before motivation ever shows up. Because waiting to "feel up to it" is how we end up running on empty. Also, you deserve to feel like yourself again. No toxic positivity, no pretending you have it all together. Just real tools for the mid-meltdown moments (yours or theirs). And a little less believing every guilty thought just because it showed up loud. Side note: CBT's evidence base is broader and deeper than almost any other psychotherapy modality. It has been studied extensively across age groups, cultures, and severity levels, and is consistently recommended in clinical practice guidelines from major health authorities, including the American Psychological Association and the World Health Organization. For both anxiety and depression, it is typically listed alongside or ahead of medication as a first-line treatment option.

Interpersonal

Your mood and your relationships move together. When one's off, the other usually is too. IPT zeroes in on what's happening right now: a rough breakup, tension with a partner, becoming a parent, grief, a friendship that's shifted. We work through it with real strategies (better communication, boundaries, processing the hard stuff). Pair it with CBT and you're covering both sides: IPT handles what's happening between you and others, CBT handles what's happening in your head- Assuming-the-worst, the shutting-down, the "I'm such a burden" thoughts that show up mid-conflict. Not just feeling better in the moment, but actual skills that stick.

Attachment-based

That moment when you're holding your baby and feel... meh? Or you're going through the motions but something feels off, like you're not as "bonded" as you thought you would be? You're definitely not the only one, and this happens more than anyone talks about. Attachment-based therapy is all about rebuilding that connection, one small moment at a time. We look at what's getting in the way, like exhaustion, anxiety, your own childhood patterns showing up, postpartum mood stuff , etc., and gently work through it without judgment. No pressure to "feel the magic" overnight. We focus on tiny, doable ways to reconnect: eye contact during a feed, narrating what you're doing, noticing your baby's cues without the pressure of getting it perfect. Connection isn't a switch that flips. It's built in repetition and it can absolutely grow even if it didn't feel instant.
