Hi, I’m Eden McIntosh, LPC, and I help adults who are tired of feeling stuck in anxiety, guilt, people-pleasing, and trauma from the past. If you’ve been carrying emotional wounds, struggling to trust yourself, or feeling disconnected from your worth—I’m here to help you heal. Using a blend of CBT, DBT, inner child work, and holistic tools, I guide my clients in breaking generational cycles, building boundaries, and learning how to love themselves from the inside out. This is your space to rediscover peace, clarity, and who you were always meant to be.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other in a safe and supportive space. I’ll take time to learn about your background, explore what’s bringing you to therapy, and begin identifying your goals and needs. We’ll also review consent forms, answer any questions you may have, and talk about what you hope to gain from this process. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling seen, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to create a nonjudgmental, grounded space where clients feel genuinely seen and supported. I have a deep understanding of how trauma, anxiety, and low self-worth impact the mind and body, and I tailor each session to meet the client where they are—blending evidence-based practices like CBT and DBT with holistic tools and inner child work. Clients often tell me they feel heard in ways they haven’t before, and I’m honored to help them reconnect with their voice, their boundaries, and their healing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, unresolved trauma, low self-worth, and difficulties with boundary-setting and emotional regulation. I am best positioned to support individuals who have a history of people-pleasing, childhood emotional neglect, or strained family dynamics, and who are now seeking to break generational patterns, improve self-awareness, and build healthier relationships. My clients are often high-functioning but internally overwhelmed, and they are ready to do the deep work of healing, growth, and self-discovery through a collaborative, integrative approach.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I use an eclectic therapy approach in my practice by integrating CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and client-centered techniques to meet the individualized needs of adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, and low self-worth. This flexibility allows me to tailor interventions—such as thought records, mindfulness, inner child work, and boundary setting—to support each client's emotional growth, self-understanding, and long-term healing

Eden is an amazing listener. She let me speak without interruption, which made it easy for me to express my feelings and thoughts. Her presence is very inviting and on top of being extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She has a great sense of humor, which made the session even more relaxing. I greatly appreciated her time.

I feel seen and heard without being judged, and that means the world to me when I am being vulnerable. She lifts me up while still holding me accountable, and I appreciate that balance. As much as I do struggle to continue therapy, I find that my appointments with Eden make me look forward to the next time I can speak with her.
