In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In the first session I want to create an environment where you feel safe, supported, and heard. Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a comfortable low-pressure way. I will ask you questions about what brought you to therapy, what you are hoping for, and I will work with you to answer any questions or concerns and also go over any policies. Once I figure out your specific needs I will use that information to create a unique treatment plan that will address these issues in the following sessions.

I provide a safe space for you to feel comfortable to share and process life challenges and feel supported and heard. My sessions are conversational, supportive and I make sure to check in to see what feels most safe and right for you. I like to focus on practical tools that you can utilize right away.

I specialize in assisting clients heal from anxiety, panic, self-esteem and confidence issues, trauma, grief and loss, work/life balance and life transitions. I use treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, compassion and solution focused therapy to create a treatment plan that is unique to the needs of each client.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy to help my client identify troubling situations and how their thoughts, beliefs, and emotions affect the situation. I then create a treatment plan that is unique to each client that will help them address their areas of concern.
Compassion Focused
I use compassion focused therapy to make sure the client feels safe and supported. I emphasize the importance of client going at their own pace to share their stressors and concerns. I feel like compassion focused therapy is important for any therapist to provide their clients for them to feel comfortable to share their life stressors and concerns.

Our first session went great. Ms. Dalia is very empathetic and listens well, while offering solutions. I felt vert comfortable sharing with her, and am very hopeful that our sessions will be productive and helpful to me.
