New to Grow
I specialize in grief and loss, major life transitions, and anxiety, helping adults find steady ground during overwhelming seasons of life. Using CBT, mindfulness, and positive psychology, I help you quiet racing thoughts, process change, and build practical tools so you can feel more in control, resilient, and emotionally balanced. I was born and raised in Louisiana and have maintained licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Louisiana so that I can continue to serve those who live in my "home" state. I now reside, work, and have a family in Mississippi where I am a Licensed Professional Counselor so that I can serve those who live in my current home state. I provide virtual therapy to adults across both states.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session together, we will be discussing the concerns that brought you to counseling and your goals for therapy. I will also share a bit about my professional counseling style with you so you can better determine whether or not you feel comfortable with me as a therapist and if I will be able to accommodate your needs. This will be a brief session, only about 30 minutes, and by the end of that session if we both feel we are a good fit for your needs, we will move forward with scheduling future sessions to really dive into the therapeutic process.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I understand that reaching out for help can feel like a daunting step, especially when everything already feels heavy. You deserve a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood without pressure or judgment. I offer a supportive and thoughtful approach tailored to your needs.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I help adults navigate grief, unexpected life changes, and persistent worry that feels hard to control. Treatment focuses on understanding emotional patterns, building coping skills, and creating a sense of stability again. Clients often experience improved clarity, stronger emotional resilience, and the ability to move forward with confidence. Together, we will identify unhelpful patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. Each session is practical, supportive, and focused on real-life progress.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is the treatment method I use the most because it is a proven, evidence based method that treats many concerns effectively. The narrative you have in your mind (cognitions) impacts your behavior (daily actions). When you create mindset shifts and rewrite the narrative, you see changes in your behavior to achieve the outcomes you desire.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Using MIndfulness-Based Therapy in conjunction with CBT helps you gain self-awareness that is key to personal growth. These strategies help break automatic, negative thought patterns and reduce anxiety as you learn to be present in the moment with your emotions, thoughts, and body.
Grief Therapy
Loss brings a myriad of emotions and levels of complexity that are difficult to navigate alone. Grief therapy is a safe space to mourn your loss, express your emotions, and learn ways to live with loss.
