Life moves fast and sometime we can’t keep up. Sometimes we don’t feel like we can talk to others for fear of judgment. Do you feel overwhelmed? Do you withdraw and shut down when you are struggling? Do you have thoughts come at you a mile a minute? Do those same thoughts take off into uncharted territory? It’s not uncommon, and you don’t have to feel that way forever. You might not have the tools to sort out or process these emotions. Maybe you know some skills, and are unsure how to or when to use them. These are just a few reasons why people seek therapy and I provide a supportive, non-judgmental and encouraging environment.
Our first session will be us getting to know one another. I will review paperwork, informed consent, mandated reporting, privacy practices, HIPAA, and any questions you may have. We will also go over scheduling as I would like to be able to make sure you have a regular appointment that works for your schedule. I usually will ask a fair amount of questions and I want to hear what you want from therapy sessions.
I feel that years of working in community-based mental health gave me a wide range of practice to meet clients where they are. Nothing you share will ever change how I view you as a person.
I work with a wide range of topics such as stress management, couples issues, anxiety and depression. I also have a passion to work with mothers suffering from prenatal and postpartum anxiety and/or depression, and those have or are currently experiencing grief and loss.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence‑based therapy that helps clients process and integrate distressing memories, reduce emotional intensity, and build resilience. By guiding you through structured bilateral stimulation—through gentle eye movements or taps—EMDR activates your brain’s natural healing processes, allowing painful experiences to be reprocessed and stored adaptively rather than relived. Having completed advanced EMDR training, I offer a safe, supportive environment where I’ll teach you grounding techniques, tailor the protocol to your unique history, and walk alongside you as you transform painful memories into sources of strength and growth.

I have been meeting with Caroline for a while now, and she is a great fit! She is funny and easy to connect with. She was the first clinician I was able to feel comfortable with here on Grow. She listens and validates but also gently challenges negative beliefs/thoughts. She keeps it authentic!

Very welcoming and open, makes it easy to open up and created a natural conversation. Great beginning for a first session.

Caroline was approachable and helped me logisticize some of the toughest moments of being an underresourced mom to a baby. She helped me feel seen, empowered, and understood during a time I couldn’t have felt lonelier. Being able to learn from her own challenges and how she soldiered through them gave me hope and a path forward for myself.
