Hello ! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia. I have been practicing since 2016. I love assisting children, young adults, and adults struggling with various mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, various traumas, and so much more work towards their goals and overcome difficulties. I look forward to working with you !

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session will be a space for you to introduce yourself, for us to get acquainted, and for you to become comfortable with sharing the areas that you would like to make improvements in.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe my greatest strengths are my patience and listening skills along with ability to ask thought provoking questions and meet you at the stage in life you are currently at.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with children and adults who feel stuck or are struggling in some way and need some assistance with navigating past their current circumstances. I believe that whatever it is that you are facing right now doesn't have to dictate your future and that together we can find the power you have to make a change !

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

Focuses on a person's strengths, resources, and capabilities rather than their deficits or weaknesses and builds upon them to improve and progress towards their goals.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma can impact daily functioning on different levels. By processing these various traumas in sessions, the client can gain insight, alleviate symptoms, and promote empowerment.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is implemented by exploring and processing how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Being able to identify, address, understand, and process some of our unhealthy thoughts that lead to unwanted feelings/behaviors can provide symptom relief.
