About me
Greetings! I'm an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has devoted my career to helping others successfully manage mental distress and make meaning of their painful experiences. Since graduating from UCLA with my MSW, I have provided compassionate trauma-informed therapy, as well as supervised and trained a large number of other mental health professionals. Through a collaborative partnership, I have witnessed clients heal and grow!

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. I will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. If interested, I like to offer brief mindfulness coaching as a way to improve your coping and resiliency. We will explore whether we have a sense of a supportive match and rapport.

Over my 30 year plus career as a therapist, trainer and supervisor - I have learned it's more important to discover what has happened to clients than what is wrong with them. I value humor, mindfulness and a collaborative approach

Wayne listens well. He doesn’t offer solutions, to quickly to problems or concerns that I’m having. I feel that he has a lot of empathy. As a counselor, he’s a good match for me, I feel understood.
