Hello, my name is Michael. If you're reading this, I'm guessing you are stuck in a challenging situation and looking for some guidance. I have found success through many challenges. In turn, I have also helped many people overcome their hang-ups and difficulties. I believe all people have tremendous potential for healing, wholeness, and great things. I have been connecting with people for over 20 years in the counseling field, I am well-versed with many evidence-based therapeutic approaches. I love to explore new solutions through the development of self-awareness, understanding, and growth. I believe that learning about mental, physical, relational, and spiritual health is a major factor for success. I also specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma therapy, anger management, faith-based counseling, and addiction counseling. Whether you're dealing with overwhelming relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. So, what are you waiting for? It's time to schedule a session and start your journey of growth and wholeness today.
The initial session is your first official meeting with me as your therapist. It’s designed to build connection, gather background information, and begin identifying goals for therapy. You don’t need to have all the answers — just come as you are.
I believe my biggest strength is connecting with people and helping them to work through their biggest challenges. I experienced and learned a lot in life, which has helped others with their own growth journey. I love getting to know people and their story, and helping them tap into their own potential for change.

Integrative
I use an integrative approach to therapy because I believe each person is unique, and treatment should be tailored to their individual needs, strengths, values, and goals rather than relying on a single therapeutic model. Drawing from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based interventions, I work collaboratively with clients to identify the strategies that best support their growth. For clients who desire it, I also integrate faith-based counseling, incorporating spiritual beliefs and values into the therapeutic process in a way that aligns with their personal faith and supports healing. My approach balances practical skill-building with deeper exploration of the patterns, beliefs, relationships, and life experiences that shape who we are. Together, we develop personalized tools that foster resilience, emotional well-being, healthier relationships, and lasting change.
