(he/him)
My name is Kaleb. I am a Christian, a husband, a father, and a military veteran. I strive to help others recognize that healing is possible. It must be received, and we cannot achieve it on our own. Together, we can set the stage for healing to happen, but it requires intentional work, and it can be hard. The work we do requires Honest self-reflection, Openness to changing how we see things and do things, and a Willingness to put in the work to make meaningful change happen. My goal is to help you learn to recognize things that are within your control - your reactions, your words, your behaviors - and to change the things within your control that are not helping you be who you want to be. When this recognition starts to shape, then change will naturally come out of this.
In our first session, we will get to know each other. I will work to understand what you're looking for out of therapy and, together, we will see if what I provide and what you are looking for are a good match. My approach is not for everyone. It is reflective, curious, and direct. Those who are unwilling to look at themselves honestly will not do well with me. Our first session will help us to recognize whether we are a good fit or not.
I am not going to try to fix you or change you. I will work to support you in the ways that you need - honest reflection, direct feedback, guidance back to your values. This approach can feel a little uncomfortable. Many people come to therapy wanting a magic quick fix. I don't offer that. What I do offer is a supportive, consistent structure that will help you to look at yourself honestly and step into the change that is meaningful to you.
I work best with individuals and couples who are open to feedback, willing to take an honest look at themselves, and are willing to make meaningful change. I understand that therapy can be intimidating and it requires difficult work. As a result, I ask that those who I work with be willing to walk through this process with me in a way that is intentional. If you are looking for me to fix your problems or provide a quick fix, I cannot do that. If you are looking for supportive guidance, a steadfast relationship, and reflective, direct feedback meant to incite meaningful change, then I am your guy.

Christian Counseling
Christianity is the foundation of change. God invites us into honest reflection, recognition of where we are falling short, and a pathway to improve. God reminds us that we each were created with purpose and value; hand-crafted by his hand. He assures us that what we need is known, and no amount of our struggles will change whether we are able to get what we need or not. When we look at life as an invitation into relationship with God, we are better able to put the weight of responsibility - the anxieties, struggles, straining - into the hands of the one who is able to hold it. In that, we can find peace, joy, and fulfillment. We are able to focus on what is within our control and better align ourselves to that.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
ACT provides a flexible foundation for reorienting ourselves to who we want to be and what is important to us. In a world that is demanding and distracting, it is too easy to get caught up in patterns of behavior and thought that do not serve us and, in fact, are problematic. ACT gives a basis for skills, strategies, and life approach that empowers us to take control of what is our and to release the rest.
Couples Counseling
Couples are the foundation of the home and family. I have speciality training and experience working with couples. I do not, however, work with every couple. My approach requires couples who are open to feedback, willing to honestly look at themselves, and respond to the needs of one another in a collaborative, supportive, and sustainable way. If we have one or both partners who are unwilling to step actively into ownership, the work will be unmovable. As a result, I am selective with who I work with, and couples sessions do require cash payment - my standard cash rate is $135.

My husband and I have been in therapy previously with another therapist. Ultimately, that therapist was not a good fit. After one couples therapy session with Kaleb, I am feeling hopeful and optimistic for my relationship again. Kaleb was direct and supportive of both me and my husbands concerns and gave use tools to use already. My husband warmed up to him by the end of the session and we are both excited to continue therapy together to work on our goals.

A great fit for my situation, he understands and pushes me to get the answers out of my own head and talk about the issues. Pushes as needed, but holds back when needed. ALl around great personality and person
