About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in private practice with over 8 years of professional experience working across a variety of settings. Are you feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or struggling to cope with life's challenges? As a therapist specializing in women's and maternal mental health as well as addictions, I understand the unique pressures and complexities you face. I offer a compassionate and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with trauma-informed care to help you develop the tools and resilience needed to overcome obstacles and build a fulfilling life. Whether you're navigating motherhood, career challenges, or personal growth, I am committed to helping you find healing, balance, and empowerment. A native of Georgia, I have a BBA in Marketing from Georgia Southern University and a Masters in Social Work from Valdosta State University. I have lived in South Georgia my entire life. I am a spouse and mother of 3 children and 1 dog.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session we will review your intake questionnaire together for elaboration and additional detail that may have been left out. We will explore your personal goals and discuss creating a treatment plan that's right for you. A big part of the first session is getting to know each other and making sure we are the right fit for one another.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

With additional training and education in perinatal mental health, I can help you through one of the most difficult adjustments in life- pregnancy, preparing for and embracing life with a newborn. In addition, I can assist with traumatic births, miscarriages and unplanned pregnancies. Whether you have a substance use disorder that is greatly impacting your life or you just want to decrease a habit due to health concerns, I can help you along the way to reducing dependence on substances including alcohol, prescription medication, smoking and other addictions. *I do not specialize in porn, gambling or sex addiction*

I’ve been having sessions regularly with Kasey for 6 months now and after we got over that initial awkward new client phase we’ve been able to talk more openly. We laugh and she supports me and listens through my rants. Kasey is very much an easy going professional and I look forward to our sessions each time.

I've been seeing Kasey for about a year and half now. I look forward to my sessions, even on the hard days. Because I know she will listen, be warm, while also giving meaningful feedback/strategies. She can call me out when needed by being direct but also with an empathetic approach. I rate Kasey very highly compared to other therapists I have had in my lifetime!

Kasey makes me feel seen and heard. She gently suggests solutions and gives grace when I do not follow through with her advice. She is very warm and makes me feel safe.
