I would describe myself as warm, creative, compassionate and lively. I'm not afraid to gently question or challenge you if needed, and I'll always speak authentically about our work together and the work outside. Humor definitely has a place in my work so we will laugh together sometimes while we figure things out together. I am genuinely interested in your story and I will listen deeply to understand what brought you to counseling and where you want it to take you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I want to hear from you about what you are struggling with right now and about your history. You can ask me questions and tell me your goals, what you want to accomplish in counseling. No stress or pressure; I understand that this might be difficult if you haven't been in counseling before or if you are having a tough time right now.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and solution oriented with a foundation of years of skilled work behind it.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I've had a long career in mental health counseling and I am skilled in helping clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, Mood Disorders like Bipolar Disorder, and I have specialized training in helping clients who are diagnosed with PTSD or CPTSD. I like working with clients who are truly ready to the do the sometimes painful or messy work that will get them to the new horizon they seek.
