Do you find yourself putting everyone else's needs before your own? Perhaps you are the responsible one in your family—the person others depend on for support, and stability. You may appear successful on the outside, yet internally feel overwhelmed, anxious, or exhausted from carrying responsibilities that never seem to end. Maybe you struggle to set boundaries without guilt, find yourself repeating the same relationship patterns, or wonder why you work so hard yet still feel like you're falling short. If this sounds familiar, you're not alone. For over 20 years, I have helped adults navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and grief. Many of the clients I work with are high-achieving adults, adult children of immigrant parents, and individuals who have spent years taking care of others while neglecting their own emotional needs. Often, the struggles we experience as adults are connected to lessons we learned early in life. We may have learned to stay strong, avoid conflict, meet expectations, or prioritize everyone else's needs before our own. While these patterns may have helped us survive difficult circumstances, they can later contribute to anxiety, burnout, resentment, and difficulties in relationships. Over the years, I have learned that growth is not about becoming someone else. It is about understanding ourselves more fully, letting go of patterns that no longer serve us, and creating relationships that reflect who we are today. I believe meaningful change begins with awareness, compassion, and courage. Therapy is not about becoming someone different. It is about reconnecting with who you are beneath the pressure, expectations, and self-doubt. You deserve relationships that feel authentic, a life that aligns with your values, and the freedom to care for yourself with the same kindness you so freely offer others.
During our first session, we’ll take time to talk about what brings you to therapy and answer any questions you may have about the process. We’ll explore your background, including family dynamics and any relevant medical or personal history, and discuss what you hope to gain from counseling. This first meeting is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding the challenges you’re facing. Together, we’ll start identifying goals and how therapy can best support you moving forward.
As a Licensed Therapist and Filipina clinician, I bring over two decades of experience helping individuals navigate life's emotional and relational challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in the belief that healing happens when we are able to understand ourselves with greater clarity and compassion. I view therapy as a partnership. You are the expert on your life and experiences, while I provide guidance, perspective, and tools to help you move toward the changes you want to make. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I strive to understand the bigger picture of who you are, where you've been, and how your life experiences have shaped the way you think, feel, and relate to others.
Many of the clients I work with are high-achieving adults, adult children of immigrant parents, and individuals who have spent years taking care of others while neglecting their own emotional needs and feeling stuck in patterns they don't fully understand. They may struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, self-criticism, or difficulty setting boundaries. Others find themselves repeatedly entering unhealthy relationships, avoiding conflict, or feeling responsible for everyone else's happiness. Some carry a deep sense of guilt whenever they prioritize their own needs. These patterns rarely develop without reason.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is a powerful, results-oriented approach that helps reduce anxiety and depression. I use it with my clients to create meaningful, lasting change by identifying and shifting patterns such as self-blame, perfectionism, and negative thinking. It’s a practical, empowering tool that helps you break free from unhelpful beliefs and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Attachment-based
Attachment-based therapy looks at the connection between early attachment experiences with primary caregivers and ability to develop and form healthy relationships as an adult. It is helpful to revisit some learned behaviors and beliefs to empower you to keep some or replace them.

Her analogies helped a lot to grasp certain concepts.

Connection isn't good. A Lot of technical issues on the Provider side. I am very impatient and maybe this is the Universe telling me this Provider is not a right fit for me.

I had a positive experience with my therapist. She is friendly and warm, which made it easy for me to feel comfortable opening up. I especially appreciate how she focuses on the present—it helps me stay grounded. The time went by so quickly that one hour didn’t feel like enough, which says a lot about how helpful and engaging the 1st session was. I’m looking forward to seeing her again next week.
