As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I believe that everyone deserves a space where they can feel safe, supported, and understood. I work alongside my clients to help them navigate difficult emotions, overcome obstacles, build self awareness, and discover their strengths.

My goal is to meet each person where they are, without judgment, and support them as they work toward healing, growth and a more fulfilling life.

My goal is to meet each person where they are, without judgment, and support them as they work toward healing, growth and a more fulfilling life.

First session

During our first session, my main goal is to understand what brought you to therapy, what you've been experiencing, and what you hope to work toward. I'll ask some questions to learn more about you, but you don't have to tell me everything all at once. I want this to feel like a safe space where we can work together at a pace that feels right for you. We will begin to identify your goals of therapy and explore how I can best support you on your journey.

Strengths

I believe one of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to connect with people on a genuine and compassionate level. I bring empathy, patience, authenticity, and an open mind into my sessions. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe enough to share their stories without fear of judgment. I want my clients to recognize their own strengths, feel empowered to make changes, and understand that they do not have to navigate life's challenges alone.

Ideal clients

My ideal clients are adults across the lifespan who may be experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, trauma-related concerns, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, emotional regulation challenges, chronic illness or disease, or major life transitions. They may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about their future. My ideal clients may be ready for change, feeling uncertain about therapy, or simply looking for a safe space to process their experiences. Whether they are just beginning their healing journey or ready to make meaningful changes, I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to explore their experiences, build resilience, heal from loss, manage chronic pain, strengthen emotional well-being, and move toward a more fulfilling life.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and explore unhelpful thought patterns, recognize the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and develop practical coping strategies that promote positive change.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate Mindfulness-based interventions to help clients increase present-moment awareness, regulate emotions, manage stress, and respond to difficult thoughts and feelings with greater acceptance and self-compassion.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use Trauma- Focused CBT interventions in my practice to support individuals who are navigating the lasting effects of difficult or traumatic experiences. My approach emphasizes safety, trust, emotional regulation, and self-understanding. My treatment helps clients identify and reframe trauma-related cognitions, explore the connection between thoughts, emotions and behaviors, and develop adaptive coping strategies.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

My practice is grounded in a person-centered approach that emphasizes empathy, acceptance, and the belief that every individual has the capacity for growth and healing. By honoring each person's unique story, strengths, and goals, I work collaboratively with clients to foster self-awareness, build confidence, and support meaningful change. I believe that feeling heard, understood, and respected is an essential part of the therapeutic journey.
