My name is Megan, not “therapist Megan,” just Megan. I am an authentic individual who genuinely strives to meet people where they are and support them on their life journey. In sessions, I approach each person with empathy, compassion, and a solution-focused mindset, providing psychoeducation and guidance to help them achieve their goals. Above all, I value the therapeutic relationship, built on a foundation of trust and non-judgment.
In your first session, we will start by reviewing informed consent and discussing the process of therapy so you know what to expect and feel comfortable. I’ll ask about your background, current circumstances, and what brought you to therapy—your “why now”—to better understand your needs and experiences. Together, we will begin exploring your goals and identify a common focus to guide our work, ensuring that the path we take is meaningful and tailored to you. Most importantly, this session is an opportunity to start building a trusting, non-judgmental relationship where you feel heard and supported from the very beginning.
Connecting with people where they are and approaching them with a non-judgmental mindset.”

This is my first time in therapy! This has been such a fantastic experience. I truly believe everyone can benefit from being in therapy. Megan has helped me so much to understand my emotions and thoughts going out into the world and what I should challenge in my own thinking. She has been a great listener, and I feel so much better after my sessions. Highly recommend her to anyone that even just wants a safe space to talk about how they feel and how they experience the world.
