About me

You don’t have to carry this alone. I’m a California-licensed therapist who supports adolescents, young adults, women, and people from diverse cultural backgrounds through stress, relationship dynamics, family conflicts, and trauma recovery. Whether you’re juggling academic pressure, caregiving, career pivots, or the weight of old wounds, I offer a steady, nonjudgmental presence. My style is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive—I honor the identities, histories, and values that shape who you are, and I approach our work with curiosity, humility, and respect.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During the first session we will get to know each other, and discover the things you want to address in therapy. There will be paperwork and I will answer any questions you have regarding therapy and set goals you want to achieve in therapy. And we will begin to establish a rapport creating a safe space for you to share openly.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I draw from evidence-based approaches—including cognitive behavioral, mindfulness-based, attachment-focused, and trauma-informed practices—to create a supportive, affirming space where your story is seen and respected. This can look like learning to reframe unhelpful thoughts, practicing grounding and nervous-system regulation, building mindful awareness of triggers, and developing self-compassion. We’ll set clear goals together, move at a pace that feels right, and check in regularly about what’s working so you always feel in charge of your healing process.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

The clients that I am best positioned to serve are; those with relationship issues, (job, personal, non-traditional) where we begin by exploring attachment style and communications: transitioning in life (i.e. new job, relationship etc.) we can explore the loss of the familiar and anxiety that stems from the unknown while building resilience for the future: anxiety, neurodivergent, learning new skill to help regulate and create a life that accommodates your nervous system: identity questions (i.e. LGBTQIA, gender dysphoria) clients within this demographic often deal with "minority stress"—the chronic high level of stress faced by members of stigmatized groups. Providing a specialized, affirming lens that understands the intersectionality of queer identity with other life stressors like anxiety and work. I also have experience working with teens, Black and POC, demographics that may experience "minority stress", and those suffering with substance abuse.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is used to identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. I will help guide client to recognize automatic thoughts and beliefs and challege their validity.

Eclectic

Combining various techniques and therapeutic models to create a unique treatment plan. This method is flexible and can be adjusted according to the clients progress.

Psychoeducation

Used to teach both clients and family about coping strategies, mental health conditions and treatment options. This is done in-session role playing and written material and helps to empower clients, improve communication and support recovery.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Focusing on the clients present strengths and future goals versus their problems. Acting as a collaborator I use techniques to help identify solutions and reinforce positive progress.
