New to Grow
I’ve been working in the mental health field for over 24 years, in various capacities. I have had the honor to collaborate and support individuals, couples, and teens through some of life’s most challenging moments. As a Latina therapist, I bring a deep respect for culture, resilience, and the strength that exists within every person. My approach is compassionate and grounded, I believe that healing is possible for everyone, and that each person already has the capacity within them to grow and move forward. I work best with clients who may be struggling but are open and willing to invest in themselves. Together, we create a space where you can feel understood, challenged in a supportive way, and empowered to build the life and relationships you want.
Starting therapy can feel a little uncertain, so my goal in our first few sessions is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and supported. During our first meeting, we will spend time getting to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what’s bringing you in, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’re hoping might change. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out you can go at your own pace. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, your current struggles, and your strengths. This helps me get a fuller picture of who you are, not just what you’re going through.
I create space where clients feel genuinely cared for, not judged. I feel completely comfortable working with people in difficult emotional places rather than trying to “fix” things too quickly. I value clients who are willing to do the work.
My ideal clients are client's who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling and who are open to growth and willing to do the work that meaningful change requires. I have a deep appreciation for clients who show up with honesty and courage, even when things feel messy or uncertain. I approach therapy with compassion and curiosity, working hard at creating a space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences without judgment while building the skills needed to move forward. I value working with people who are ready to reflect, challenge patterns, and actively engage in their healing process. I’m especially passionate about working with teens/young adults who are navigating life challenges. Whether they’re feeling stuck, misunderstood, or simply wanting to grow into a stronger version of themselves, I enjoy helping young people build resilience, confidence, and a clearer sense of who they are. At the heart of my work is a belief that even in the middle of struggle, there is an opportunity for growth and that with support, insight, and effort, meaningful change is possible. The core of my work is assisting you find your capacity to heal!
