Hi, I’m Teresa, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California. I offer therapy sessions Monday through Friday, with appointments available between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. My approach to therapy is supportive and collaborative. I believe therapy is most effective when you feel safe, understood, and empowered. Together, we’ll build on your existing strengths while developing practical tools, deeper self-awareness, and meaningful insights that support lasting growth and positive change.
Our first session is a chance for us to connect, explore what you're looking for, and see if working together feels like the right fit.
My greatest strength is offering support that feels affirming. I care deeply about how life’s challenges have impacted you, and I’m equally interested in the strength, creativity, and resilience you’ve shown in navigating them.
I’m best positioned to support clients who are ready to align their values with their behaviors and are motivated to make meaningful changes. You may feel stuck or out of sync with the life you want, but you’re open to exploring new perspectives and taking practical steps forward. I work well with individuals who appreciate a solution-focused approach and are looking to build tools that help them move toward a more intentional and fulfilling life.

She is phenomenal! The best therapist I've ever had, and I've had dozens over the years. I wish I could see her everyday! She is so warm, kind, thoughtful and professional. I look forward to seeing her and can already see positive results regarding my mental health. Strongly recommend!

This is my first appointment with Dr. Martinez and it was very informative. Dr. Martinez took the time to listen to my concerns thoroughly and helped me understand my options. She was very welcoming and made me feel confident that I can do this. I'm looking forward to having more sessions with her.
