Hello and welcome! I'm so glad you have taken the steps towards self-improvement, and hope this will be a good match. I have worked in various settings over the last 10 years from school-based therapy, juvenile detention, group private practice and now telehealth. I enjoy working with a wide population, including individuals, couples and families. I specialize in anxiety, depression, Borderline Personality Disorder and BiPolar II disorder to name a few. *I am currently NOT accepting couple sessions who have any type of Medi-cal as their insurance*

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In a first session, I will confirm contact information, we will review the intake form and complete any incomplete portions. This will usually take us to the half-way point. After, the rest of the time is for the client to address why they are seeking therapy at this time. With the last few minutes, we will go over scheduling and goals you would like to set for yourself on this journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

When we work together, I hope you take away that I am friendly, personable, and honest. I take an eclectic approach when I work with clients, and sometimes it's more than therapy. I help people with life skills that they need to be most successful when they have no one they trust to help them.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Utilizing CBT, we identify how your thoughts affect your behaviors and influence feelings

Attachment-based

I utilize this to work with clients to better understand how early developmental years were affected by those we trusted most, and how those past relationships affect the "now."

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

This is most effective for those who have difficulty self-regulating when in a dysregulated state, learning to "ride the wave."
