Adrianne Warner
I’m a compassionate and supportive therapist dedicated to helping clients navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful, lasting change. I strive to provide a safe, judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered.
If you’re ready to prioritize your mental health and invest in your well-being, I invite you to take the first step.
Together, we’ll explore your goals, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you feel more confident and fulfilled. You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. 💚 Therapy can be a space to feel heard, gain clarity, and build the tools you need to move forward. If you’re ready to prioritize your mental health and invest in your well-being, I invite you to take the first step. Reach out today to connect and explore whether we’d be a good fit to work together. You deserve support, growth, and space to become the best version of yourself.
First session
During your first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. I’ll ask questions about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, goals, strengths, and what you hope to get out of counseling. We’ll also complete an intake assessment, which may include information about your personal and family history, mental health, medical history, relationships, and current life circumstances. This first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what feels important to you, and learn more about how I work. We’ll discuss confidentiality, expectations for therapy, and develop a plan that is tailored to your individual needs and goals. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and comfortable taking the next step in your therapeutic journey.
Strengths
I bring compassion, patience, and genuine understanding to my practice. My years of working with children, teens, and young adults have helped me develop strong communication skills and the ability to connect with clients at different stages of life. I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves. I also bring a strengths-based perspective, focusing on each person’s unique abilities and potential while helping them develop practical tools to manage challenges, build confidence, and create positive change.
Ideal clients
My ideal clients are individuals who may be struggling with intense emotions, feeling overwhelmed, or having difficulty navigating challenging experiences. I work with people experiencing anxiety, trauma, self-harm, suicidal thoughts or past attempts, crisis situations, emotional dysregulation, or significant life transitions. I have extensive training and experience supporting individuals through suicidal ideation, self-harm, crisis, and other emotionally difficult experiences. I understand that when emotions feel intense or overwhelming, it can be difficult to know where to turn or how to move forward. I provide a compassionate, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients can feel heard and understood. My goal is to help clients better understand their emotions, develop healthy coping strategies, build on their strengths, and feel more confident in navigating life’s challenges. Whether someone is experiencing a crisis or simply feels stuck and wants support, I strive to meet each person where they are and help them move toward meaningful change.
Treatment methods
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
In my practice, I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop a healthier relationship with their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. ACT focuses on building psychological flexibility by learning to make room for difficult feelings, step back from unhelpful thought patterns, and focus on what truly matters to you. Rather than trying to eliminate uncomfortable thoughts or emotions, ACT encourages us to approach them with greater acceptance and self-compassion while taking meaningful steps toward our personal values and goals. Together, we explore what is most important to you and identify practical ways to move forward, even when life feels challenging. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can build resilience, strengthen self-awareness, and create a life that feels more meaningful and aligned with who you want to be. Therapy is not about having everything figured out; it’s about learning new ways to navigate life with greater flexibility, intention, and confidence.
