Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During the first few sessions, I learn from you what has brought you into therapy, gather relevant history, and we decide together on appropriate ways to support you. Every step of the way is a collaborative endeavor and I meet you where you are at and ready for on your healing journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach to therapy begins with developing a safe and trusting relationship. I offer Trauma-informed care, involving Somatic based Internal Family Systems work, within a Social Justice framework, involving Cultural based medicine and the Mind-Body-Spirit connection. I also offer process oriented therapy through tarot readings and natal charts. My process oriented approaches support with gaining an understanding of what is happening now and how it connects to your internal and external world. I provide a free 30 minute consultation to help you decide if I would be the right therapist for you. I encourage questions and open, honest talk, so you can get to know my style of practice and how I am with people. My priority is helping you make an informed choice of what will serve you well. My treatment methods

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Somatic-informed Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy merges body-based somatic practices with traditional IFS. It treats trauma and emotional distress by acknowledging that feelings and survival responses are physically imprinted in the nervous system, allowing clients to heal by unburdening their "parts" through physical awareness and regulation. Our bodies remember through the felt experience that is kept in deep within the body. Using somatic practices, along with IFS work, supports with restoration of safety and relieving of trauma and other distressing experiences.

Gender-affirming therapy

I provide a safe, supportive, identity-validating engagement that honors and explores a person's gender identity and personhood. I support by engaging in practical life steps, with trauma and minority stress, providing affirmation and a safe exploration, within a holistic care approach.
