I am a dedicated and highly motivated client-focused Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California. Therapy does not have to be dry, boring, or scary and it's okay to have fun in therapy. We all share in the HUMAN EXPERIENCE!
Furthermore, I enjoy assisting couples with strengthening their relationship as well as providing them with necessary tools have open, honest, respectful, and meaningful communication.
So I may not have the same experiences as you, however, I know what feels like to make mistakes, experience hurt, love, loss, pain, and fear. I also know what it’s like to rebuild myself and have success again. Everyone experiences a range of thoughts, feelings, emotions, and situations that shape and mold us. Therefore, working with people in their time of need motivates me to help them find balance in their lives. (*If you are ordered by the courts to attend therapy, then you would need to find another clinician, as I do not do court-appointed therapy. Also, if you are dealing with suicidal ideations or self-harm, I do not specialize in that area and would direct you to clinicians who are best suited to assist you. Thank you for your understanding.
First session
In our first session together, we will start off with brief introductions, then we will begin to identify the reasons you decided to take on the challenge of participating in therapy. Remember, if therapy was easy, then everyone would do it! Therefore, I thank you advance for allowing me to be apart of your journey in discovering the best version of yourself and/or your relationship! * Therapy is not a one sized fits all and with that being said I am not the best option for individuals suffering from suicidal ideation or any form of self-harm. Moreover, If you are considering of contemplating suicide or feel that you may be a danger to yourself or others, please notify the police (or) contact emergency medical services (911) immediately.
Strengths
I excel at engagement, meeting you where you are in addition to assisting you at finding what is beneath the surface issues. I like to do attachment work, helping you to heal from childhood injuries and unfinished business. Furthermore, I enjoy assisting couples with strengthening their relationship as well as providing them with necessary tools have open, honest, respectful, and meaningful communication. Lastly, I enjoy when you realize that you have AGENCY for change! Meaning, you already posses everything that you need to make effective choices that will enable you to live the life you desire.

I enjoy assisting individuals in unlocking their full potential as human-beings. However, my passion is working with couples as I believe that unconditional love is real! The key is to improve upon self love so that we are able to love others more freely and joyously!
