LCSW, 10 years of experience
Greetings, I am glad you are here today. My name is Grace and I have been a clinical social worker for more then 10 years. I use the pronouns her/she. My clinical experience began in a hospital setting, where I worked with a variety of people (age 5 to 90) with an equally vast range of issues and disorders. Working from a client-centered approach, I utilize many expressive creative art therapies, including zendoodle, zen journal, drawing, painting, clay (and more), alongside Cognitive Behavioral Therapy practices (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Practices (DBT). Iam always excited to incorporate ecotherapy in a session! I believe that therapy is for anyone who would like to develop new thought patterns, increase their healthy coping skill, discard your old beliefs about themselves, and gain awareness of your internal and external resources.
During the first session, I like to use this time to get to know you and what you have been struggling with and see what I can do to help. If the times I have available don't work for you, shoot me a message. I am pretty open and want to be flexible to offer a time that accommodates you. :)
I myself am neurodivergent; that is my superpower. I come from a background in art/film/comics and know firsthand how valuable the nonverbal approach to expressing oneself truly is.
I enjoy hearing from people who identify with in the LGBTQ+ community, and anyone from the iGen / Gen Z. I always strive to meet my clients with compassion and respect, regardless of age, skin color, or identification.
I use a variety of theoretical and creative approaches and will customize a session to fit your needs.

Grace has been instrumental in helping me re-contextualize the story of my life for the better. She's very kind and open minded, an empathetic listener, and always has insightful, empowering, responses. I truly cannot recommend her enough!

Grace was very welcoming and carried that throughout the session. Aside from welcoming she responded well with mannerism and her use of body language which made me feel at ease.
