Life can be challenging, but the right support makes a difference. I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with 20+ years of experience helping people navigate life’s ups and downs. My goal is to create a brave, inclusive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. Whether you’re seeking healing, clarity, or personal growth, I’ll be alongside you every step with compassion and care.
In our first session, the focus will be on helping you feel comfortable and learning about your needs. I’ll explain my role and approach, ask about your concerns and background, and give you space to ask me questions. Together, we’ll set meaningful goals—like reducing stress, improving relationships, or managing symptoms. By the end, I’ll understand your main concern, outline how we can work on it, and share at least one practical strategy you can start using right away.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to truly listen, even beyond words. Often, people in pain or stress don’t realize they already hold the answers to their problems. My role is to act as a mirror, helping you discover those solutions for yourself. I’ve developed this skill through education, life experience, and working with diverse age groups across different settings and backgrounds. In every session, I strive to bring creativity and moments of laughter or joy, so the process feels supportive and uplifting.
Are you looking for a therapist who values collaboration, listens deeply, offers practical feedback, like to have fun in sessions by using creative approaches to help you discover solutions and find joy along the way? If you say, yes —I’m here for you.

Motivational Interviewing
Change can be difficult. Motivational Interviewing is a supportive approach that meets clients where they are in their journey and helps guide them toward their goals.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
It helps clients focus less on the problem and more on creating realistic steps toward solutions. This builds their self‑esteem and confidence.

Mrs. Smith is absolutely amazing. I was so nervous about sharing my life with someone. She made fill so comfortable the first session. Everything thing we have discussed has had a positive impact on my life. I feel so different talking to her. It has changed my life. Knowing my worth has been great. Understand that im just not robot to except anything. I haven't smiled this much in years. I like this new me. I will not except anything less from now on.

Sharon made my intake call feel unlike any other intake call I have done. It was not all ratings and diagnosis. It was intentional conversation which led to deeper thoughts and conversation. I look forward to continuing my work with her.

Sheron was really inviting and dispelled any worries I had about restarting therapy. I like how directly she spoke and allowed me to voice my concerns without interrupting. Really nice overall.
