If you’re tired of overthinking every move, replaying old wounds, or feeling like anxiety, anger, or shame is making life more difficult — you’re in the right place. I can help. You’ve been working so hard just to feel okay — and you deserve more than okay. You deserve more than to just survive. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in anxiety, trauma, and shame. I help people cut through the noise, understand what’s actually driving their patterns, and build real tools to change them. No fluff, just honest, practical therapy that gets you somewhere. I am genuine and relatable to everyone I meet, down to earth with a sense of humor. Twenty-two years of marriage and raising six kids has allowed me to see real life up close, and I bring that experience into every session. I’m not here to just listen and nod. I’m here to help you figure out what’s getting in the way and give you tools to overcome it.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals, current stressors, and what you hope to gain from counseling. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—this session is about creating a safe, supportive space and beginning a plan that feels right for you.
My therapeutic style is highly collaborative, practical, and action-oriented; we won't just passively talk about your problems, we will map out your specific mental loops and build concrete, real-time strategies to quiet your nervous system and help you find your voice. Whether you are navigating intense relational anxiety, struggling to express your boundaries, or seeking a grounded, evidence-based approach to emotional regulation, I am here to help you move from survival mode back into active leadership of your life. When you're ready to drop the heavy lifting of overthinking and start making real progress, schedule our first session today.
I love working with clients who want real change, not just talk. My approach is active, honest, and focused on helping you show up better for yourself and the people you care about—emotionally grounded, confident, and connected.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My approach to CBT is collaborative and practical. I help clients recognize patterns in their thinking that contribute to anxiety, depression, or feeling stuck, and we work together to challenge and reframe those thoughts. The goal is to build tools clients can use outside of session to respond to stress with greater clarity and confidence.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT to help clients develop concrete skills for managing overwhelming emotions and stress. Together, we focus on mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation strategies that clients can apply in real-life situations to reduce reactivity and improve emotional stability.
EMDR
I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process distressing or traumatic experiences that continue to impact their emotional wellbeing. EMDR supports the brain’s natural healing process, allowing painful memories to become less intense and disruptive so clients can move forward with greater clarity and emotional relief.
Christian Counseling
I offer Christian counseling for clients who wish to integrate their faith into the therapeutic process. Sessions may include exploring spiritual beliefs, values, and Scripture alongside evidence-based clinical approaches to support emotional healing, growth, and resilience.
