First time in therapy? Or ready to make a real change? It can feel uncomfortable opening up to someone new—but you don’t have to have it all figured out to start. I work with teens, young adults, and millennials—especially men and people of color—who are navigating anxiety, life transitions, and past experiences that may still be impacting them.

I work with teens, young adults, and millennials—especially men and people of color—who are navigating anxiety, life transitions, and past experiences that may still be impacting them.

I focus on creating a space that feels real, supportive, and easy to step into, while helping you better understand yourself, your needs, and build the clarity and confidence to move forward.

First session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about what you’ve been experiencing, what goals you may have for therapy, and any background that may help provide context. There is no pressure to have everything figured out right away—this is simply a space for you to share at your own pace. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and supported while we begin identifying areas we can work on together. By the end of the session, we will also discuss next steps and what the therapeutic process may look like moving forward.

Strengths

A big part of my work focuses on trauma—because many of us have experienced things that still shape how we think, feel, and show up in relationships. I help clients understand their triggers, make sense of their experiences, and shift patterns that no longer serve them. My approach is collaborative and centered around you, exploring how your past shows up in the present while building practical tools and a clearer sense of who you are and how you want to move forward.

Stan has been the best therapist I have ever encountered and should truly be recognized for his assiduous efforts and care for his clients. I am truly grateful for him in this very important time in my life. I look forward to our meetings in the future and even seeing where we both elevate to in our own life goals. Thank you, Stan!

Stan is a great provider. He is intelligent/knowledgeable, very relaxed and understanding. I enjoy being able to share with him as I can tell he is truly listening and in-tune. He let's me speak my mind and understands a lot about the background I come from. I am very grateful to have found him at this time/process of pure alignment in my life.
