Jared Chantrill
I value authenticity, collaboration, and practical support. My approach is grounded in helping clients understand themselves more deeply while building tools they can use right away. I work to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes. My goal is to help you move toward clarity, confidence, and emotional resilience. I look forward to meeting you.
You are the expert on yourself, so your therapy journey will be what you make it.
First session
In our first session, we’ll explore what brings you in, clarify your goals, and begin identifying the patterns or challenges you want to work through. I’ll ask thoughtful questions and collaborate with you to shape a plan that feels supportive and manageable.
Strengths
I bring a calm, grounded presence and a solution-focused perspective to every session. Clients often tell me they appreciate my calm demeanor. You are the expert of your life. Therefore, you know what will and will not work for you. I help clients feel supported while also challenged in meaningful ways.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is someone who is ready to explore their inner world with honesty and curiosity. They may be navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, and they’re seeking a space where they can feel understood without judgment. They value collaboration and appreciate a therapist who offers compassion. Most importantly, they are motivated to grow and willing and patient enough to engage in meaningful conversations that support lasting change. Though I use an approach called solution-focused, the more appropriate description of my focus is on getting to the results that the client already has the capacity to achieve, but likely does not realize it yet.
Treatment methods
Eclectic
I have been trained in Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing and have used these approaches as appropriate throughout my career.
