I am a bilingual Latina Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I graduated from USC in 2019 and I have been doing individual therapy for six years. I have worked with children, teenagers, adults, and families who suffer with depression, anxiety, self esteem, trauma, stress management and relationship issues. I love helping people, and I am glad that I can help others build skills and cope with their stressors and emotions. My approach to therapy is client-centered as I want to provide a safe space, support, and help those in need. I am certified in MAP and FOCUS.
The first sessions is about building rapport and getting to know each other in order to build trust. We will also create a treatment plan together as we will be working towards those goals.
I want to be able to provide a safe space to listen, support, and help those in need.
I primarily worked with children, teenagers, adults, and families who suffer from anxiety, stress management, depression, relationship issues, life transitioning, and self esteem.

I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy into my practice by helping others identify negative thought patterns, understanding negative thoughts and distortions, and challenge and reframe thoughts.

Wendy is a great listener, and she asks important questions that help me process my feelings surrounding whatever issues we are talking about. I have worked with her for some time, and I appreciate having a judgment-free zone and having space to share while also being given the tools to work through my challenges. I also value the fact that she has been flexible to try and accommodate my schedule even with all she has on her plate.

I wanted to pick more options as Wendy is the best therapist I have had, from the 3 previous ones I’ve had. She is thee most interactive and will hold you accountable if necessary. She is intelligent, challenging, empowering, warm, open minded and solution oriented. I love her thee best therapist I’ve EVER had. Thank you Wendy!

I loved that no matter what I told her she understood and was open minded about my circumstances. She did not judge me and no matter what decisions I made in life and wanted to help me unconditionally.
