As a licensed professional counselor, I provide an empathetic approach to counseling. My goal is to create a trusting environment to build a positive therapeutic relationship. By doing this, my client is able to discuss those issues they may have never disclosed before. My specialty is in behavior modification for children (beginning at 3 years old) and also trauma for children through adults. I also have experience working with anxiety, depression, bereavement, ADHD, self-harm, mood disorders, personality disorders, and anger management. I use evidence-based therapy such as CBT, TF-CBT, and EMDR I use a warm, non-judgmental approach to help clients better understand their patterns of feeling, thinking, and behaving and to learn to cope and communicate in healthier ways.

Depending on your needs, I am trained in several different treatment modalities. I like to use CBT, TF-CBT, and EMDR. For children, I like to incorporate play into the sessions. Playing opens many windows into a child's life.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
After two years into my career, I found my niche' in trauma work. Since then, I have focused all of my training on trauma, especially in Narcissistic abuse. This has helped me learn how to help my client in the best way possible.
