New to Grow
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. I have been in the mental health field as a mental health therapist for over 10 years. I received my Master's of Counseling from Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, WI. I have been passionate about mental wellness ever since my first job, as a teen at the Boys and Girls Club. I am passionate about supporting others in healing their emotional wounds to be successful in life and walk in their purpose.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In you first session with me, I'm committed to creating a calm, judgment-free space where you can share at your pace. We’ll explore what brought you here, your history, and your goals. I’ll ask thoughtful questions and help you find clarity and direction, so you leave feeling supported and confident that you’re not alone in this journey.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What sets me apart is my communication style, which is warm, grounded, compassionate, and real. I listen deeply and offer gentle but honest guidance when needed. Clients often tell me I’m relatable, calming, and easy to open up to. I create a space that feels safe, culturally affirming, and supportive—where your voice, story, and lived experiences are honored.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Stress rising? Emotional overwhelm on overload? I specialize in supporting all women, children, and adolescents' needs. I'm passionate about supporting individuals through challenges and identity shifts to help you feel seen and supported, with practical tools for coping, effective communication, and healing so you can thrive at home, work, and within yourself.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I believe that clients are the experts of their lives, and I'm a conduit along the healing journey. My approach emphasizes creating a safe, affirming, and empowering space for clients to heal while acknowledging the broader systems that influence their lives and experiences.
Trauma Informed Care
I practice from a trauma-informed care framework that prioritizes safety, trust, empowerment, and collaboration. I tailor interventions to support nervous system regulation, reduce the risk of re-traumatization, and honor each client’s lived experience. I am particularly attentive to how trauma impacts attachment, identity, and family systems, and I work to engage individuals as partners in the healing process.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I have experience utilizing Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) principles in my work with children, adolescents, and families impacted by trauma. I'm able to integrate core TF-CBT components—such as psychoeducation, emotional regulation, cognitive coping, and caregiver involvement—while remaining flexible, culturally responsive, and paced according to client readiness.
Integrative
Person-centered is my foundational orientation, and I pull from other therapeutic models to help each client individually, looking at the whole person and not just a portion.
