About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who values authenticity, connection, and creating a space where clients feel truly seen and supported. I believe therapy should be both practical and meaningful—helping you build tools for daily life while also gaining deeper insight into yourself and your experiences. I have experience providing in-person and telehealth therapy services to pregnant and parenting mothers as well as individuals with severe mental illness who needed follow-up after hospitalization or just an on-going therapeutic relationship. As a member of the Queer community, I enjoy working with others who identify within that population. I have experience working with grief, end of life support for individuals as well as their family.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a comfortable, low-pressure way. We’ll talk about what’s been going on for you, what you’d like help with, and what your goals are. You don’t have to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say—just showing up is enough. My goal is for you to feel safe, heard, and supported as we begin this process together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to help clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I prioritize building a genuine, trusting connection and creating a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. I also focus on providing practical tools and support so you can feel more confident navigating challenges outside of sessions. I balance empathy with practical skill-building, helping clients gain insight while also developing tools they can use in their daily lives. I bring my lived experiences into the therapeutic realm and through a relational approach am able to connect and relate to clients with similar life experiences in a therapeutic realm.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or stretched thin—often juggling responsibilities while trying to keep everything together. I see teens on a case by case basis, depending on diagnosis, maturity level to participate in online therapy, as well as motivation to create change and invest in therapy. Many of my clients are insightful and self-aware but struggle with anxiety, emotional intensity, or patterns that no longer serve them. They’re ready to feel more in control, improve their relationships, and develop healthier ways of coping. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel understood, build practical tools, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. I am passionate about providing gender-affirming care and enjoy working with individuals who are exploring their gender identity or identify as LGBTQIA+, non-binary, gender-fluid, or transgender. My goal is to offer a safe, respectful, and supportive space where you can show up as your authentic self and feel fully seen and affirmed.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

My approach is strengths-based and collaborative, focused on helping you recognize and build on your existing resilience, abilities, and lived experience. Rather than focusing solely on challenges or diagnoses, we’ll explore what’s already working and use those foundations to support growth. Together, we’ll develop practical tools, increase self-trust, and strengthen your sense of personal agency. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel understood, gain clarity, and feel empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)–informed strategies into my work, drawing on core skills such as mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. These tools are tailored to fit your unique needs and life circumstances. Together, we’ll build practical skills to better understand emotional patterns, manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and navigate stress more effectively. My goal is to help you feel more balanced, confident, and equipped to handle life’s challenges with greater clarity and control.

Kristina was really open with me and helped me feel like I was being listened to without hesitating to give me input that I found really helpful. I am really excited to keep working with her!
