New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California, and I support clients who are moving through change, stress, relationships, parenting challenges, or self-discovery with compassion and curiosity. I bring both lived experience and clinical training to my work as a therapist, shaped as an immigrant, navigating a bicultural household, parenting, and changing career paths that deepened my understanding of identity, resilience, and life transitions. I especially understand how overwhelming it can feel to hold multiple roles and expectations at once, and how important it is to feel seen without judgment. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to be your steady cheerleader and grounded support—helping you reconnect with your strengths, make sense of your experiences, and move toward healing with clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
In our first session together, the focus is on getting to know you—your story, what’s bringing you to therapy right now, and what feels most important for you to work on. We’ll talk about your goals, what you’re hoping will feel different, and what support would be most helpful. It’s also a space for you to get a sense of me as your therapist, ask questions, and begin building a comfortable, collaborative connection.
My greatest strengths include building strong therapeutic rapport, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space, and supporting clients in identifying patterns, reconnecting with their strengths, and moving toward meaningful change with compassion and clarity.
I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults who are motivated to better understand themselves—even if they’re not sure where to begin. Many of the clients I support are high-functioning and navigating challenges related to school, parenting, relationships, life transitions, or complex family and peer dynamics. I provide a compassionate, collaborative space to help you untangle thoughts and emotions while building on your existing strengths, insight, and motivation for growth. Together, we focus on developing healthy coping skills, strengthening emotional regulation, and using mindfulness-based strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and everyday challenges. I also have extensive experience supporting children, teens, and families in improving communication, setting boundaries, and creating more connected, balanced relationships. My approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs—helping you gain clarity, shift unhelpful patterns, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with your values and overall well-being.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a practical and effective way to understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We’ll work together to identify unhelpful patterns—like self-doubt, overwhelm, or negative thinking—and gently shift them toward more balanced, supportive ways of thinking. This process not only helps reduce distress in the moment but also builds long-term resilience, confidence, and a greater sense of control in your daily life.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
I provide culturally focused therapy for immigrants, people of color, and individuals from non-Western backgrounds navigating identity, family expectations, intergenerational dynamics, and the balance between cultural values and personal growth.
