About me
Welcome! I am Cindy Walker, a licensed professional and mental health counselor and serve the states of New Jersey, Iowa, and North Carolina. It brings me great joy to be a helper and walk alongside those wounded and frustrated by life. I created Sempre Autentico LLC in order to assist people in becoming their truest self. I take a client centered approach (as therapy is such a personal choice) and work collaboratively towards what the person is motivated to get accomplished.

The first session is a wonderful opportunity to build rapport and create attainable and measurable goals. This is a great time for clients to ask questions about how therapy can go as well as how I can best support them.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I work with an eclectic array of treatment modalities, but primarily under the cognitive behavioral umbrella. I primarily work through the lenses of rational emotive behavioral therapy but am also trained in trauma informed CBT.

I started seeing Cindy when I was going through a life-altering breakup and she fully changed my life. She changed my perspective on everything I shared with her. I made so much progress with Cindy and can't say enough good things about her!!! I'm moving out of state now so we have to say goodbye, but I would see her forever if I could.
