I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in both Florida and California, and a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

My work is grounded in partnership, reflection, and healing during times of uncertainty and ongoing change.

First session

During the first session, we will explore the history of your concerns and begin identifying goals for our work together. This session is also a time for you to get a sense of my therapeutic style and to determine whether I feel like a good fit to support you in reaching your goals.

Strengths

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over fifteen years of experience, I work with adults and couples facing trauma, anxiety, infidelity, career indecision, and challenges with self-worth. I integrate Gottman-informed work, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy to create a supportive and collaborative space where clients can reconnect with their strengths and move toward healing. I am passionate about providing culturally attuned care and welcome clients from all backgrounds.

Ideal clients

My counseling style is warm, hopeful, and grounded in compassion, with room for appropriate humor. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to find the best fit for each individual’s needs. Beginning a therapeutic relationship is a journey built on courage, strength, and trust—courage to recognize the need for support, strength to believe in yourself, and trust in the therapeutic process. My goal is to help clients develop practical tools to reduce distressing symptoms and create meaningful, positive changes in their lives.

Treatment methods

Gottman method

Couples counseling that utilizes research and tools to help couples reconnect and improve relationships.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Recognizing how thoughts and actions are connected and finding ways to change the way we see things.

I have worked with multiple therapists and have made more progress with Cindy than any of them. I am so grateful for the way she has helped me to manage my stress and anxiety and helped me to improve my work life balance.

Great therapist that helps work towards solutions with your partner. Very warm and easy to talk to. My fiance and I have had an intake appointment and then today was our first therapy appointment. I'm excited to have two homework assignments that make me eager and hopeful for my partners and my future. Thank you, Cindy!
