About me

I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has been licensed since 2007 and in the field of social work for over 25 years. I specialize in aiding clients navigate through difficult emotions like depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. I also help those that are seeking spiritual guidance when life doesn't seem to make sense and they have used all the tools that they know to use. Additionally, I also help clients navigate through racial trauma and the impact Racism has had upon them in these difficult times.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the 1st session I will do a standard intake assessment so that I can get a basic understanding of the clients issues and level of functioning. Additionally, we will also develop goals to determine what they want to receive from having treatment with me.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe as a provider I offer a safe environment for my clients to speak freely without judgment that may experience from a friend or family member. Also the basis of my therapy is intuitive. I don't give responses nor ask questions based on some prescribed theoretical orientation. I base my treatment on what each client brings to the session as a unique human with feelings and concerns which may vary.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with women of color in various age groups that are struggling with depression or anxiety due to trauma, childhood abuse, or existential reasons. I love working with professional women that have insight into what is ailing them but lack the tools to resolve their difficult emotions on their own.
