Hi, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my master's in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University in California and have been practicing for the last 8 years. Adversity is a part of life and we all experience it and feel isolated. However, I believe it can be an opportunity to grow stronger. I use strength-based supportive approaches that promote growth and healing. My approach focuses on deep care and respect for you. I value your experiences, thoughts, and feelings and apply a non-judgmental stance making my sessions a comfortable experience. I focus on providing a collaborative and supportive environment where you can express yourself freely.
In sessions, we will explore, talk about, and process issues that you may feel stuck or overwhelmed by. We collaboratively look into strategies that you can utilize to reduce symptoms and hence feel better. I understand it may not always be easy to open up to a stranger and talk about personal issues hence your comfort and ease in the process are my top priority. I take time to create a gentle and non-judgmental environment to create a trusting relationship with you so that you can open up and understand those parts of you that never got an opportunity to be understood.
Having worked with clients of all ages for the last 8 years. I've developed a treatment plan tailored to each client and their unique challenges to help them achieve measurable progress on their goals
I have helped adults, adolescents, and children deal with a wide range of issues including grief, loss trauma, anxiety, workplace burnout or anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, multicultural issues, self-esteem issues, personal growth, and workplace growth. My ultimate goal is to act as a guide on your journey to feeling better.

Sana, Has made me feel seen. To really think about myself and appreciate myself. She gives me a space where there is no judgement. She always has amazing things to say and ends our sessions on positive notes. I feel so empowered, happy after talking to her. She is my first therapist and so grateful to have her.

Sana's warm and empathetic approach towards therapy really helped me on my journey towards self growth and mental wellness. Even when we had raw and vulnerable conversations, she was always gentle and understanding towards my problems and mistakes, and that instilled a sense of self confidence in me to overcome my hurdles. She also encouraged me to more kinder and forgiving towards myself. I am very grateful for all her help.
